Free Plugin for ProfiTrace

A New Free Plugin for ProfiTrace is available that displays tips, tricks and solutions for possible problems in your PROFIBUS network.

Some features and alerts:

• Wrong GSD file
• Wrong device on the specific address
• Configuration faults
• No watchdog activated
• Not recommended slave addresses (0 and 126)
• Device is not in Data Exchange
• Critical diagnostic notifications

Plugins are software modules that add specific features or services. They allow end-users and instrumentation manufacturers to enhance the ProfiTrace software and make it an even more powerful PROFIBUS tool, but also to decode the data of specific devices and protocols.
